Our school has already begun implementing Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” We are currently raising money to implement the “Leader in Me” program which was adapted from the 7 Habits for school-age children. “The Leader In Me” helps to equip students with self-confidence, self-awareness, and responsibility for one’s own learning.
Our goal for Meadowbrook Elementary School is to teach our students to be responsible, show initiative, be creative, become goal-setters, be independent, be flexible in getting along with people of various backgrounds and cultures, be problem solvers, and be able to resolve conflict.
We would love for you to be part of our team to help fully implement the “Leader In Me” program at Meadowbrook Elementary. For more information about “Leader In Me,” visit leaderinme.org, or contact our principal, Stephanie Mancini at (828) 646-3445 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
