Home / School News / PHS Students Volunteer Their Services for Meadowbrook

Students in Mr. Randy Barrett’s Cabinetmaking 2 class at Pisgah High School have begun work on a pergola at Meadowbrook as part of a garden which will be in memory of the late Ms. Williams, our former principal. We raised money for the garden and pergola and now construction has finally begun! The pergola will have benches and be used as a space for students to learn outdoors. Mr. Barrett graciously agreed to build the pergola with his class so the only costs are the materials. Once the pergola is finished, then plants can be added to complete the garden space. We hope this will be a special place on our campus for students.

PHS students work on posts for the pergola.
