Clyde Fire Department presented a safety lesson for Meadowbrook students focused on Halloween and fire safety. Minions were the feature of the lesson, which students really enjoyed. The four Halloween safety rules were presented (as retold by a Kindergarten student):
1. Always be with a grownup when you Trick-or-Treat.
2. Do not go out on the road, stay safe.
3. If it gets dark, bring a flashlight.
4. Check the candy because some of it tastes like the bottom of your shoe!
If you haven’t done so already, please remember to change your smoke detector batteries!
