Many communities across the country have implemented “The Leader In Me” model with great success. The “Leader In Me” is a whole-school transformation model that helps to improve all areas of a child’s education. “Leader In Me” was adapted from Stephen Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” for school-age children. “The Leader In Me” helps to equip students with self-confidence, self-awareness, and responsibility for one’s own learning.

Ask yourself, what would be possible if our schools were filled with students who were responsible, showed initiative, creative, goal-setters, independent, flexible in getting along with people of various backgrounds and cultures, problem solvers, and able to resolve conflict?

That is our goal for Meadowbrook Elementary students. We would love for you to be part of our team to help fully implement “Leader In Me” program at Meadowbrook Elementary.
