Meadowbrook Kindergarten students enjoyed a fun field trip to the agriculture area at Pisgah High School for Farm Day. They participated in many different activities and art projects and had a lot of fun learning about agriculture. Students visited with many farm animals including cows, sheep, goats, and chickens.
Feeding the goats and sheep was a highlight of the day!
Students used their artistic talent to create a picture frame, a face mask, and a plant sign.
Students had a great time playing farm games.
Students heard a story about chickens and got to “feed” and pet a chicken and then received a prize.
Mrs. Graham’s class got to “ride” on a tractor.
Our students were given a sunflower plant, which they will be able to grow as part of the agriculture experience. The PHS students were so friendly and helpful, we appreciate them hosting our Kindergarten students for a very fun Farm Day!
