Haywood County Schools is happy to announce the return of free books for elementary students again this year. Each elementary student will choose 10 free books from a selection next week that they can keep and add to their home library. We know that reading of the summer helps prevent the “summer slide” in reading and helps students be ready for the beginning of the next school year. At Meadowbrook these books will be distributed on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12.
